North American Sipping

Shipping Times

Standard shipping times for all of North America are as follows:

  1. Day 1 :: Place Order
  2. Day 2 - 3 ::Order Compiled and Ready for Shipping
  3. Day 3 - 6 :: Order in Transit

Transit times may vary on your location, but rarely do you wait 7 business days for your pool and equipment to be delivered. You can see all of our distribution centers on the map to the right.

Once an order is confirmed, we will send out any literature that is required via USPS Priority or Express mail. This may include, but not limited to dig specs, panel layout, instruction video . . .

Common Carrier Delivery

All PSU deliveries will be "standard curbside delivery" via common carrier. This means that they will bring it to your curb / driveway and that is all. You will be responsible for unloading the equipment from the truck. While a couple of people can unload each piece one at a time, it is much quicker to have a bobcat / skid-ster with forks to unload it.

Once you have figured out how you are going to get the PSU pool kit off the truck, remember that you have to have a place to put it. Your kit depending on what you order will 5+ pallets of equipment to put somewhere.

Typical Guidelines and steps for receiving your PSU pool kit.

  1. Make sure to get the initial shipping information from PSU so you know what carrier is delivering the equipment and an estimated arrival time.
  2. Make sure you provide a good contact number or cell number so the carrier can contact you directly to set up a delivery time. Remember that weekend deliveries are limited with some carriers.
  3. Once the shipment arrives, make sure to roughly inspect it before you take it off the truck. Note any damaged boxes or equipment to the driver.
  4. Unload the truck with your equipment or man power.
  5. Remove everything, inspect it, and verify the number of shipping units received to the numbers listed on the delivery receipt. If you didn't receive something or if something is DAMAGED, make sure that you or the driver note it on the delivery receipt BEFORE you sign it.
  6. Sign the delivery receipt after everything has been inspected and documented.

A signed delivery receipt with no exceptions is called a "clear delivery." Clear deliveries mean that there were no shortages or visible damage at the time of delivery.

It is very important that the buyer follows the delivery procedure described above. If the buyer determines that all or a portion of the merchandise has been damaged, the buyer must refuse to accept the shipment or note the exact damages on the freight bill and replacement parts will be sent. Any damaged parts that are not noted at the time of receipt by the buyer will be replaced at the buyer's cost (including shipping costs).

Returns will be accepted only up to 10 calendar days after the buyer signs for delivery and only under the condition that the buyer arranges for shipping back to PSU and pays all applicable shipping charges to and from PSU.

The buyer must call before returning merchandise to PSU. All returns are subject to credit minus shipping charges, only after inspection of returned merchandise by PSU. All returned merchandise might be subject to a 25% restocking fee due to depreciation.

Lift Gate

If you don't have the required manpower or equipment to unload the truck you may request a truck with a lift. This fee varies from $125 - $225, depending on the area you live in. Contact us for a quote.

Quicker Transit Times

If you want your pool to show up much faster than the standard 5 days, there are expedited services to select areas of North America. The times vary along with the cost, you will need to contact us directly for a quote.
