PSU - Diving Boards

A standard diving pool is at least 32' long and 8' deep. There are two different styles of diving boards, passive and active, along with two lengths, 6' and 8'. The only real reason to get an 8' diving board is to accommodate the extra space need from the auto pool cover (if you have one).

Passive boards derive their power from the bending of the board. These generally don't give you a lot of spring, but will give you enough lift dive or jump.

Active boards derive their power from a separately mounted spring. The movement based on the spring & board, give you noticeable spring and lift.
